The Wenatchee
Wild, preparing for their first season as
members of the British Columbia Hockey League, are pleased to announce
the return of Troy Conzo for his second season with the team.
Conzo is an 18 year old, left-handed shooting forward from Nesconset,
New York and is 5’9” and weighs 167 lbs. He played 44 games with the Wild in
2014-15, with 4 goals, 5 assists and 20 minutes in penalties. Conzo appeared in
4 playoff games with the Wild and also spent time with Des Moines of the USHL
last season. He is also a UMass-Lowell NCAA Division One recruit.
“Troy has the ability to take on a much bigger offensive
role” said Wenatchee Wild Head Coach/General Manager Bliss Littler. “Troy has
the creativity to make plays in small areas.”
“I’m very happy to return to Wenatchee for my second year”
said Conzo. “We have a very young and talented group of guys who are returning
so it should be a lot of fun. The BCHL is a great league and I’m confident we
will have a lot of success throughout the year. I’m excited to meet the new
players and can’t wait for the season to get started.”
The Wild will be holding tryout camp July 16th-19th
at The Community Rink at the Town Toyota Center, which will be free and open to
the public. The regular season opens September 11th and 12th,
with a pair of road games against the Prince George Spruce Kings. The team’s
first home game at the Town Toyota Center will be Saturday, October 10th,
against the Coquitlam Express. Season seats for all 28 home games are available
through the Wild office, or by calling 509-888-7825.
