U.S. Men's National University Team Downs Sweden, 4-1,
in Qualification Matchup at World University Games
GRANADA, Spain—The U.S. Men’s National University Team downed Sweden, 4-1, in a quarterfinal qualification matchup at the 2015 Winter World University Games today at Granada Sports Palace. The U.S will next face Canada, tomorrow (Feb. 11), in the quarterfinal round of competition.

The U.S. Men’s National University Team will face 2013 gold medalist Canada tomorrow (Feb. 11) at 2:30 p.m. ET in the quarterfinals. The game will be streamed live at WUGUSA.com. CheckUSAHockey.com for updates about both the men’s and women’s teams at the 2015 Winter World University Games.
Notes: Ten different players recorded at least one point in tonight’s contest. Connor Schmidt was the only multi-point scorer, picking up a goal and an assist.
U.S. Women's National University Team Tops Kazakhstan, 3-2, in Overtime
in First Relegation Matchup of World University Games
GRANADA, Spain—The U.S. Women’s National University Team overcame a two-goal deficit to defeat Kazakhstan, 3-2, in overtime of its first relegation game of the 2015 Winter World University Games today. Katie Augustine (West Chester, Ohio/Miami University), Emily Ford(Glastonbury, Conn./University of Vermont) and Hayley Williams (Crete, Ill./Miami University) each scored to help Team USA secure the win.

The U.S. Women’s National University Team will play one more relegation game Friday (Feb. 13.) against host country Spain at 7:30 a.m. ET. It will be a rematch of Monday’s meeting between the two teams, which Team USA won by a 9-1 count.

Corvallis, OR. -- Legendary Oregon State University football player Bill “Earthquake” Enyart passed away Tuesday morning after a battle with cancer. Enyart, who was born April 28, 1947 in Pawhuska, Okla., was 67-years-old.
