The Tampa Bay Juniors Empire team played at the Palm Beach Hawks yesterday (January 25th) and a three-goal third period wasn't enough to come back from a 2-0 deficit after two, as the Hawks held on for a 4-3 win.

Third period goals for Tampa Bay were scored by Alex Trendall, Tyler Estermyer and Steven Noyes, but a pair of Palm Beach goals, scored after Trendall's counter, spelled the difference. Sam Coleman made 39 saves for the Juniors, who went 0-for-1 on the power play and 2-of-2 on the penalty kill.

The Empire Juniors, now 25-7-0-3 and 3 points up on the second place Florida Junior Blades (who have 5 games in hand) are on the road this coming weekend, January 31st and February 1st, to play the Atlanta Junior Knights, along with the Elite Juniors. The Empire team plays Saturday at 5:00pm EST and Sunday at 8:00am EST. The Elite Juniors play Saturday at 8:00pm EST and Sunday at 11:00am EST. All games will be webcast on Fasthockey.com.
