2014 Toyota-USA Hockey National Championships Continue Wednesday
Full slate of tournaments get underway throughout the United States; Disabled Hockey Festival dates and location announced
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The 2014 Toyota-USA Hockey National Championships continue Wednesday (April 2) with six separate tournaments beginning in Green Bay, Wis. (Youth Tier I), Hackensack, N.J. (Tier II 14U), Reston, Va. (Tier II 16U), Wayne, N.J. (Tier II 18U), Marlborough, Mass. (Tier I Girls; Women's A, B, C) and Amherst, N.Y. (Tier II Girls).
Additionally, the dates and location for the 10th annual USA Hockey Disabled Hockey Festival were recently unveiled. The event will be held April 11-13, 2014, in Marlborough, Mass., at the New England Sports Center.
In all, some 40 national champions will be crowned at the youth, girls, high school, junior, disabled, adult and women's levels in nine cities across the United States between now and early May.
USA Hockey, in conjunction with FASTHockey, will be streaming all the action. Games are available on a pay-per-view basis by visitingUSAHockey.FASTHockey.com and creating a free account. In addition, games will be available for purchase on DVD following the tournament by visitingUSAHockey.FASTHockey.com.
New this year is the Toyota-USA Hockey National Championships app. Available for both Apple and Android devices, the app provides unprecedented access to scores, live stats, schedules, photos and opportunities to interact with others via social media.
In addition to streaming and mobile coverage, USA Hockey will also provide live scoring, stats, standings and photos from each of the games on USAHockey.com. Fans can follow all of the action from each tournament on Twitter at both @USAHockeyand @USAHNationals.
