You probably heard that the World Wide Web turned 25 this week. Well it was 22 years ago this week that Nathaniel Borenstein sent his colleagues the world's first email attachment: a picture of his barbershop quartet, The Telephone Chords. Borenstein, along with another researcher named Ned Freed, wrote the code for attachments because one day he hoped to get pictures of his grandchildren over email. To the delight of grandparents everywhere, his technology became commonplace.

Arthur Chu, the 11-time Jeopardy champion who has made headlines around the world with his unique strategy, has finally lost. He collected $298,200 during his reign. Chu lost in Final Jeopardy when he couldn't correctly answer "He was the last male monarch who had previously been the Prince of Wales." The answer was George VI but Chu guessed George II.

2002 - Former NFL player Jim Brown began a six-month jail sentence for vandalizing his wife's car. Brown had refused to undergo court-ordered counseling and community service.

2007 - Mike Modano (Dallas Stars) scored his 500th career goal.
