Ibrahim YĆ¼cel wants to stop smoking -- so he's wearing a cage on his head (image) to stop himself from having cigarettes. The 42-year-old Turkish man has been smoking two packs of cigarettes since he was 16 and is afraid of dying from lung cancer, like his father.

St. Petersburg, FL. -- Saturday night, the Rays held a "Turn Back the Clock" promotion celebrating the 1970s. Sunday afternoon, David Price followed suit by turning back the clock to 2012.

The reigning American League Cy Young Award winner made his second start since returning from the disabled list, and he pitched like the 2012 David Price rather than the model seen earlier this season, leading a 3-1 win over the White Sox at Tropicana Field.

1954 - Memphis disc jockey Dewey Phillips played "That's All Right" on his radio show. Later that night, Elvis Presley, came in for his first interview. Elvis did not know he was on the air until after the interview.

1968 - Elvis Presley reported to National General for preproduction work for the film "Charro!"

1972 - Colonel Parker announced that there would be a worldwide satellite broadcast of an Elvis Presley concert from Hawaii in October or November.

In a wild race that featured two massive wrecks on the last lap alone, Johnson beat Tony Stewart to the finish line in the Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway to record the first season sweep of NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races at the 2.5-mile tri-oval since Bobby Allison accomplished the feat in 1982.

LONG POND, Pa. – For an early birthday present, Scott Dixon wouldn’t turn aside a victory – or two – in the Honda Indy Toronto doubleheader this weekend.

Dixon, who turns 32 on July 22, earned his 30th Indy car win in the Pocono INDYCAR 400 Fueled by Sunoco on July 7, which broke a tie with Rick Mears for 10th on the all-time list.
