2013 U.S. Under-17 Select Team Unveiled
U.S. Team to Compete at the 2013 Under-17 Five Nations Tournament in Slovakia
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Hockey today announced the 20-player roster for the U.S. Under-17 Select Team that will compete in the 2013 Under-17 Five Nations Tournament Aug. 14-18 in Trnava, Slovakia.
The 20 players on the U.S. roster all participated in the USA Hockey Boys’ Select 16 Player Development Camp, which took place from July 7-13 at the Northtown Center at Amherst in Williamsville, N.Y.
The U.S. roster features 12 forwards, including Brock Boeser (Burnsville, Minn.), who led the Boys' Select 16 Player Development Camp with 12 points (4 goals, 8 assists) in six games. The six-man defensive unit for Team USA includes Tory Dello (Crystal Lake, Ill.), Vasili Kolias (Schaumburg, Ill.) and Zachary Osburn (Plymouth, Mich.), who each recorded at least four points during the Select 16 Player Development Camp. Sharing goaltending duties will be Kris Oldham (Anchorage, Alaska) and Nicholas Vilardo (Clarence, N.Y.).
