Fresno, CA.— The Wenatchee Wild won the North American Hockey League West Division title Friday with a 5-4 overtime win over the Fresno Monsters at Selland Arena.
The win, coupled with the Fairbanks Ice Dogs’ 4-3 loss to the Kenai River Brown Bears, secured the division title for the Wild.
“It was the first goal the kids set out for, to win the division,” Wenatchee head coach Bliss Littler said.
