USA Hockey Names Members of 2013 U.S. Women’s National Under-18 Team Squad will compete at the 2013 IIHF U18 Women's World Championship COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Twenty-two players have been selected to represent the United States at the 2013 International Ice Hockey Federation Under-18 Women’s World Championship in Heinola and Vierumäki, Finland, from Dec. 29, 2012 to Jan. 5, 2013. “We have assembled a talented team of players with a strong work ethic and have an experienced, results-driven coaching staff in place,” said Reagan Carey (Colorado Springs, Colo.), director of women’s hockey for USA Hockey. “We are excited to take this team to Finland to compete for another IIHF U18 Women’s World Championship title.” Sidney Peters (Geneva, Ill.), Danielle Cameranesi (Plymouth, Minn.), Sydney Daniels (Southwick, Mass.), andKatherine Schipper (Brooklyn Park, Minn.) will compete in their second IIHF U18 Women’s World Championship after earning a silver medal with Team USA in 2012 in Zlin and Prerov, Czech Republic. Sixteen players selected competed in the 2012 Under-18 Series vs. Canada, a three-game series with Canada held each August.  In addition, Cameranesi, Daniels, Jincy Dunne (O’Fallon, Mo.), Jennifer Ryan (Victor, N.Y.),Taylar Cianfarano (Oswego, N.Y.), Mackenzie Kent (Norwell, Mass.), Alexandria Laing (Marblehead, Mass.), andGrace Zarzecki (Chicago, Ill.) recently skated in the 2012 Pre-Four Nations Cup Camp, held from Oct. 31 to Nov. 4, in Tarrytown, N.Y., with members of the U.S. Women’s National Team.
