Brendan Nicholson scored in the first period for Tampa Bay and Jonathan Hall in the second, but the Juniors found themselves down, 3-2. The third period was a different story, as Tampa Bay got two goals from Zach Capco, another one from Nicholson, plus goals from Brent Barber, J.C. Bradley and Roope Hintz to grab the four-goal win. Kyle Gertz made 20 saves for Tampa Bay, which went 1-for-5 on the power play and 4-of-5 on the penalty kill.

On Sunday, the Eels won the Empire game, 6-3. Nick Frankich and Austin Teal helped stake Tampa Bay to a 2-1 lead after one, then Teall scored again early in the second for a 3-1 lead. The Eels took over from there, scoring 5 straight goals for the win. Kyle Gertz made 23 saves for the Juniors, who were 2-for-8 on the power play and 5-of-7 on the penalty kill.

The Eels skated to a 4-0 lead after two periods, then coasted to a 7-2 win. Chase Anderson and Paul Lochner scored third period goals, while Hunter Tetrault made 9 saves. Tampa Bay was 0-for-5 on the power play and 5-of-7 on the penalty kill.

The NFL's Jacoby Jones of the Baltimore Raves is on the same team as Ray Lewis, so he's already facing an uphill battle when it comes to over-the-top touchdown celebrations. That being said, the moves he pulled out after a score against the Philadelphia Eagles are bizarre, to say the least. If you saw the game and couldn't figure out what Jones was doing, he was pretending he had nunchucks in his hands.

New York, NY. -- Tampa Bay's pitching hiccups and sloppy play in the field gave the offense a reprieve from bearing the brunt of the responsibility for the team's most recent defeat on Sunday.

A five-run Yankees third inning that included a single, three walks, two stolen bases, a wild pitch, an errant pickoff attempt, an ejection and a Russell Martin three-run home run put Matt Moore and the Rays in an early hole, culminating in a 6-4 loss to the Yankees in the rubber match at Yankee Stadium.
