Winnipeg, MB. -- The Lightning hit a bit of critical mass Monday, and it turned into a 30-minute players-only meeting after a 5-2 loss to the Jets at the MTS Centre.

Players declined to go into specifics about what was discussed but mentioned how frustrating it was that another slow start on the road pushed Tampa Bay (8-7-2) to its second straight loss..

2011 USA Hockey Sled Classic, Presented by the NHL,
Set for This Weekend

FASTHockey to Stream Second Annual Event from Vorhees, N.J.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The second annual USA Hockey Sled Classic, presented by the NHL, is set to take place this weekend (Nov. 18-20) at the Virtua Center Flyers Skate Zone in Vorhees, N.J. The event is part of Come Play Hockey Month, a joint effort of USA Hockey and the National Hockey League.

The USA Hockey Sled Classic will feature nine sled hockey club teams with ties to National Hockey League teams, including the Boston Bruins, Buffalo Sabres, Carolina Hurricanes, Chicago Blackhawks, Colorado Avalanche, Pittsburgh Penguins, St. Louis Blues, Tampa Bay Lightning, and tournament host Philadelphia Flyers.

In all, more than 100 of the top sled hockey players in the country will compete in the event, including 13 members of the 2011-12 U.S. National Sled Hockey Team.

The preliminary rounds of the event will take place on Friday (Nov. 18) and Saturday (Nov. 19), with the semifinal round and championship game to be held on Sunday (Nov. 19).
