OAKLAND -- Going west looked like the fitting tonic to get Tampa Bay's postseason chances back on track. Instead, the trip has been more like the Rays' Waterloo.
After losing to Oakland, 6-1, on Tuesday night at O.co Coliseum, Tampa Bay moved to 1-4 on the current 10-game road trip through Kansas City, Oakland and Seattle.
The Rays have now lost 10 of their last 14 games while moving to 53-49 on the season.
