The match-up against Canada is part of a selection/training camp that will take place from April 4-12 at the Ann Arbor Ice Cube, featuring thirty players who have been selected to the preliminary roster for the U.S. Women's National Team. The roster showcases 16 Olympians, 15 of whom captured the world title with Team USA in 2009. For the full preliminary roster, click here.

The U.S. women last faced Canada in the state of Michigan on Jan. 6, 2002, when they earned a 7-3 victory in a game prior to the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. Held at Joe Louis Arena, the game drew 10,158 fans, which set the women's Team USA attendance record. It is also the second most attended women's hockey game in the U.S. (the University of Wisconsin's women's ice hockey team drew 10,668 fans to its "Fill the Bowl" game against the University of Minnesota on Jan. 29, 2011).

NOTES: Doors to the Ann Arbor Ice Cube will open at 6 p.m., one hour prior to the start of the games ... The final 21-player U.S. Women's National Team roster is set to be announced on April 9.
