Help The CCA Prevent Colon Cancer!

We need you to email CMS/Medicare to request coverage of a new medical device that makes the colonoscopy an even more effective test.

Operating much like a “rear view mirror,” the Third Eye ® Retroscope ® helps expose blind spots located behind folds in the wall of the colon where lesions may not be seen with the colonoscope alone. Several studies have shown the device has demonstrated an additional adenoma (pre-cancerous lesions) detection rate of up to 25% compared to standard colonoscopy. Although colonoscopy is currently considered the “gold standard” for examination of the colon, it can miss up to 24% of pre-cancerous adenomas of the colon. Multiple clinical studies have confirmed the device provides substantial clinical improvement over use of a standard colonoscope alone and we urge CMS to provide Medicare reimbursement to cover this important addition to the traditional colonoscopy. The cost of the Third Eye Retroscope cannot be absorbed through the current Medicare reimbursement rates for colonoscopy. Therefore, this important technology will not be widely adopted by physicians and hospitals without CMS’s establishment of additional reimbursement.

It is not often that we get the opportunity to reduce cancer rates from the 2nd leading cause of cancer deaths in the country. The time to act is now. We request that you spend a few seconds and take action now in support of this life-saving technology by sending an email to CMS.

Take Action Now!

How to watch the videos on Oh Baby Vision

In the upper left hand corner, there's three horizontal lines. Click that once or twice and it'll bring up thumbnails of all the movies. Click on the one you want to watch and it'll start. It may play the next one automatically, or you may have to click the little box to bring the thumbnails back up.

Now with the addition of more videos, just use the scroll bar on the right to choose the one you want to watch.
